Scrunchie is back doesn't have sales. Our accessories are made in small batches at the foot of Montmartre. We don't overproduce, and our accessories don't have an expiration date. However, because we love to spoil you and celebrate summer, little surprises will be slipped into your packages until August 7th. We're starting with bouquets of wheat ears. Bucolic or symbolic? It's up to you to decide what you'll do with this gift, reminiscent of past summers spent in the countryside. To help you out, here are some creations and ideas to fill your summer Sundays.
THE DOOR HOOK
To decorate your sad front door, your pretty window or even your coat rack, making a door hanger with ears of wheat is very simple:
Grab some ribbon or raffia and your pretty bouquet of wheat ears. Wrap the bouquet in a ribbon and tie with a pretty bow. Make a loop on the other side, loop it around your doorknob... and admire!

WALL DECORATION
Is your wall definitely too white? Scatter your little bits of paint across your wall by hanging it with masking tape in beautiful colors. Have fun with the colors and ways to hang it: shape it into a heart, a star, or even your name?

IN THE CONTAINER THAT WILL MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE
You definitely have it: that vase from your grandmother, that little wicker basket at the back of the attic, that pitcher, that milk jug you found at a flea market, that bottle of wine you kept because it was really beautiful, that magnificent carafe... We won't tell you how to put it in the vase (even so).
It's time to dust it off: your bouquet of ears of corn will enhance it!

THE PHOTOPHORE FOR THE MOST PATIENT
Take a fairly small old jam jar, some strong glue, a pretty linen ribbon, and your bunch of ears of corn. Glue the ears of corn, at the base with a dot of glue, all around your jar. Wait for the glue to dry (test your hair while you wait!). Once dry, wrap the ribbon around the base of the jar, securing the ends with glue.

SOME PRECAUTIONS
Be careful to ensure that the ears of corn cannot be reached by the flames. To do this, trim your ears so that they do not extend beyond the edges of the pot. Use night lights and small candles instead of tapers (okay, tapers are romantic, but they get everywhere!)!
THE IMPROBABLE SANDWICH PICKS
Dressing your Sunday brunch table with sandwiches is great, but using wheat ears as sandwich picks is even better! Also very practical for taking your snack with you on a picnic without it falling apart.
The Scrunchie Team's favorite sandwich: Marilou's avocado, corn, tomato, and chicken salad sandwich.
