Already the third article for this Scrunchie Mag. To celebrate: focus on curly and frizzy hair ! Many of you often ask us about this hair type , and how to combine accessories with it.
We decided to give the floor to two influencers with lion manes , fans of Scrunchie is back: Marie and Mood , and the pretty Parisian Florine.

How would you describe your hair?
Florine: I have long , thick hair that waves or curls , and is light brown in color that turns red in the first rays of sunshine . My hair is quite unruly , and the curls don't necessarily form by themselves, especially on top.
As stated on her blog , Marie has curly hair, which is naturally dry , brittle and fragile . In addition, it is adorned with pretty blonde / white highlights , which have further weakened her hair .

Is having curly hair a big investment in terms of maintenance?
Florine : Yes, especially in time ! I wash them daily with an organic shampoo and an organic conditioner . Then, I style them with my magic blue brush ( a Sibel detangling brush ). From time to time I put a little argan oil on the ends . I have banned the hair dryer because it breaks my curls , which forces me to use a curling iron which damages my hair.
Marie: Yes, you have to invest money in maintenance because curly hair is dry hair , which requires nourishing , moisturizing products, and specific care for curls.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how does your hair represent your style?
Florine: 8, hairstyle counts a lot in a style . And a hair accessory often makes all the difference.
Marie: I would say 10 , they form my identity , who I am.

Have you ever thought about getting a hair straightening treatment or have you always loved your hair?
Florine: I think we always want what we don't have. I probably wanted straight hair in high school... Even if depending on the humidity in the air it's more or less hard to tame, I'm very happy to have it curly and with volume.
Marie : It's been about 8 months since I decided to embrace my wavy hair. Before, I didn't like it; I wanted straight hair like my friends. I straightened it regularly, or put it in buns. Afterward, I never wanted to get it straightened at a salon because I never knew if I really wanted to have straight hair all the time.

Do you own any Scrunchie Is Back accessories? What's your favorite?
Florine: I have a headband, scrunchies ( at least 6!), a barrette navy blue bow , a black beret , and a scarf !
Marie: Yes, I have three products from the brand: three favorites and I love them all equally! (cf. Kelly , Janet & Daisy).

Have these had an impact on your hair routine?
Florine: A big YES. They allow you to:
- do your hair in less than a minute to go to work in the morning, with a great result ! And that's only possible with quality accessories like yours!
- the bow barrette attached in a half ponytail allows me to dry my hair when I wash it in the morning, instead of using a hair dryer and curling iron ... My curls are structured and the volume is controlled.
- take time on the weekend to try things out at home, because mastering our hairstyles takes time and practice !
- choose my Scrunchie accessory according to my outfit or vice versa.
Marie: For some time now, I stopped using elastics because they were too damaging to my hair. I started using clips. Then, I rediscovered scrunchies and since then, I 've only used them !

What are your favorite hairstyles to do?
Florine: Simple hairstyles, using your accessories. I often wear the scrunchie in a high or low bun on the side. The bow barrette in a half-ponytail or a high ponytail. The hair tie in a low bun and a half-ponytail. They really help me tame the volume of my hair and enhance my curls, while adding a fresh and colorful touch to my outfits.

A little secret to share with the Scrunchie team?
Florine: I'm repeating myself, but you absolutely must avoid using a hairdryer. It completely destroys your curls and takes away their natural look ! You absolutely must favor natural drying and use ultra-hydrating products.
Marie: Always apply an ultra-nourishing serum for wavy/curly hair, it's essential.
