Your tips for nourishing your hair

A few days ago you were asked a question on Instagram:

What are your hair care secrets (routine, products, etc.)?

More than fifty of you responded to us (THANK YOU SO MUCH).

We've combined, assembled, and sorted all your answers to come up with the elixir, the cream of the crop, the ultimate in hair care.

WE START WITH: OILS!

You unanimously recommended using oil baths between shampoos. Here are the oils you mentioned:

  • Coconut oil : clearly, according to you, it's THE product to have to take care of your hair
NB: Melt it in the microwave if necessary.
  • Castor oil : promotes growth, nourishes and repairs hair deeply
  • Aloe oil : strengthens hair, nourishes the scalp and reduces dandruff
  • Argan oil : deeply nourishes hair
  • Avocado oil : strengthens hair fibers and nourishes the hair
  • Sweet almond oil : regulates excess sebum (the cause of oily hair), repairs and nourishes the hair

You also advised us to make homemade masks, much more nourishing than those found in supermarkets:

  • Oil + egg + honey mask : beautifies, moisturizes, and nourishes the hair
  • Neutral henna mask + natural yogurt + Monoi oil : neutral henna purifies and cares for the hair and scalp and allows you to space out shampoos, yogurt nourishes, protects and coats the hair while Monoi has the same properties as coconut oil
  • But also masks based on oil blends : coconut + castor + avocado...

THEN YOUR TIPS FOR HAIR CARE

  • Rinse hair with warm or cold water to make it shine ,
  • Rinse hair with apple cider vinegar for extra shine ,
  • Dry them in a microfiber towel, which damages the hair less ,
  • Or simply let them air dry or with a hairdryer on a cold setting,
  • Sleeping with a silk scarf over your hair,
  • Banish elastics, only wear scrunchies because they break and/or mark the hair,
  • Space out shampoos as much as possible (use dry shampoo instead!),
  • Do oil baths between each shampoo and ideally leave it on overnight,
  • Use a natural brush or comb (wood or animal hair).

AND FINALLY, THE BRANDS YOU MENTIONED TO US

  • Maria Nila : a 100% vegan brand, with beautiful packaging, a smell to die for, and a pretty good composition!
  • Amika : this brand incorporates sea buckthorn balm into each of its products and has developed a wide range of hair care products, including a super cool styling cream!
  • Douce nature : a range of totally organic products that respect your hair, which contains a great shampoo perfect for the whole family's hair!
  • Olaplex : The perfect brand for bleached and/or damaged hair! Even stars swear by their products.
  • René Furterer : This brand offers both liquid treatments, such as shea butter masks, and solid treatments, as well as dietary supplements. There's something for everyone!
  • Bumble & Bumble : Bumble & Bumble began as a New York City hair salon, which quickly grew in popularity. As a highly sought-after salon, a line of products of the same name was launched to allow more people to try their hair care products.
  • Christophe Robin : this range of products launched by a leading Parisian hairdresser-colorist is all the rage, whether in salons or at home!
  • Nuxe : we swear by huile prodigieuse , the brand's famous dry oil, which repairs hair and skin!
  • Schwarzkopf : whether in the salon or in treatments found in supermarkets, their treatments will always remain among the best, especially their curl definition cream which we recommend for all your curly heads!
  • Rahua : This eco-friendly brand uses nourishing rahua oil in every product. We particularly recommend the Omega hair mask (it deeply nourishes hair, leaving it soft and shiny).
  • Lavera : organic, vegan, and natural products for everyone! And their shampoos are simply incredible; we recommend this brand 200%.

So, are you ready to have the most beautiful hair in France?

    Ana
