A FASHION ICON
With her voluminous, frizzy blonde locks and instantly recognizable style, Brigitte Bardot, or BB as the Scrunchie Team likes to call her, has launched some timeless pieces. Bikinis, striped tops, off-the-shoulder tops, Bardot necklines, and gingham patterns—we owe a lot to our '60s icon.
One of the must-haves enhanced by BB in the 60s and for which we totally melt in the Scrunchie room… you probably guessed it, it's the iconic headband! Navy blue or green, it's the accessory that accompanies Brigitte during her younger years. We are fans of the retro side and we've dreamed of offering you this accessory since the launch of Scrunchie.

THE SCRUNCHIE-STYLE BB HEADBAND
Behind this beautiful project are several months of reflection, creation, prototypes, fittings... we thought of the smallest details: wide enough to give a retro style, thick enough so that it fits the curves of the face without giving the crushed effect, covering at the ear level... The little extra is hidden at the back of the headband, an adjustable elastic, because yes, we have all known the headband too tight (thanks headache) or conversely the one in which it was possible to put two heads (no no word from the Srcunchie team, we are not exaggerating).
BUT… HOW DO WE WEAR IT?
We can already imagine you telling us that your hair is too long, too short, too curly, too straight... or that this headband is only for girls who look like Brigitte Bardot. But don't panic, to have it on different face types, textures and hair lengths, they definitely flatter all faces!
A quick recap to help you:
With straight bangs: Place the headband around your neck, lift it up, keeping your bangs glued to your forehead. Position the headband on top of your ears, revealing the lobe.
With curtain bangs: Place the headband around your neck, lift it up, arranging the bangs on either side of the headband. The little extra we love at Srcunchie: backcomb your hair in a BB style at the back of your head for more volume.
With straight hair: We recommend parting your hair in the middle. Place the headband around your neck and lift it up so that part of your hairline is visible at the front (as if you had very long curtain bangs).
For curly hair: Repeat the same steps as explained above. You can pull a few curls out of the headband at the front or tie your hair in a high ponytail.

AND WHAT DO WE DO FOR MAKEUP?
During the day, the headband goes perfectly with a natural complexion, a little blush, and a swipe of mascara. For a more 60s look, draw a line of eyeliner, remembering to add a pretty comma for the cat-eye effect. For lipstick, opt for a pure red for a glamorous touch. Of course, don't forget the mascara for a doe-eyed look.

WHAT OUTFITS TO WEAR WITH THE HEADBAND?
If, like Scrunchie, you love to be comfortable, we recommend wearing the headband with vintage Levi's jeans or a high-waisted skirt, an embroidered puffy blouse or a turtleneck sweater.

The little extra: don't forget the pretty pair of hoop earrings to finish off the outfit!
